Retainer

An initial retainer of $ of total cost $ and a signed contract must be secured prior to any services being performed by Sonic Ridge.

 

Contracted package

Includes all services described in selected package details reviewed and distributed to clients. Any additional services/products requested by the client incurred by consultant will be billed directly to client at cost. All services contracted cannot be deducted, but additional services can be added.

Services shall consist of mainly providing musical entertainment by means of recorded music format.

 

Performance of Services

Sonic Ridge shall be allowed to arrive at the event location no less than 2 hours before the guest arrival or starting time, to set up and conduct sound check. Sonic Ridge shall incorporate guest requested songs into playlist unless otherwise directed by client. Request for extended playing time beyond the agreed-upon hours of service shall be accommodated if feasible.

Sonic Ridge shall be prepared for indoor performance unless otherwise indicated at time of booking.

Sonic ridge will provide multi colored lighting for ballroom effect.

 

Expiration

Current event date is valid 1-week post origination date to secure services.

Provided Documentation

All documentation created and provided to client is owned and copy written by Sonic Ridge and cannot be used or given to any other 3rd party.

 

Destination

For all events deemed as destination (taking place beyond 125 miles from studio), additional fees are applicable, such as round trip airfare, hotel stay for 4-5 days & 3-4 nights pending complexity, and car rentals from airport and back during the stay. All travel can be arranged by clients per specifications of Sonic Ridge or arranged by Sonic Ridge with agreement of payment invoiced.

 

Attire

All associates of Sonic Ridge will wear proper attire, white, gray, or black dress shirts or suits, day of event.

Day of Management/Consultant – Will be a Lead Associate and team member of Sonic Ridge who will be present and manage day of activities.

 

Liability

It is understood that Sonic Ridge is only liable for services completed and provided by Sonic Ridge and cannot be held liable for the services of other contracted vendors. It is understood that in no event shall Sonic Ridge be liable for consequential damages of any kind.

 

Warranty

Sonic Ridge shall provide its services in a neat workmanlike and timely manner, using quality generally used in Sonic Ridges industry and to regional standards.

Guarantee. Customer must submit in writing a notice of dissatisfaction the day of services rendered in order to be eligible for refund. Refund will be issued by check within 90 days of notification. Only one refund can be collected per household. Refund can only be issued to customer(s) listed on contract. If two names are on contract refund will be issued to both names on one check, multiple checks or refunds will not be issue

 

Cancellation Policy

If event is canceled, no portion of the fees paid to Sonic Ridge will be returned. If event is canceled less than 3 months before date, 2nd payment will be required to compensate for hours of service already rendered and loss of event date. If the event is postponed, services contracted can be applied to a new date if available (refer to Postponement Policy).

 

Postponement Policy

If event is postponed, all services will cease at time of notification of postponement if no determined new date is provided. Payment schedule will be determined and readjusted post new event date notification. If client requires services to resume, post new event date being established, second payment will be required at time of service re-start.

 

Responsibility

Sonic Ridge is not responsible for Acts Of God, Natural Disasters, an Act Of Government such as A Declaration of National or Local Emergency, or Other Incidents Not within the control of Sonic Ridge, i.e. accident, death in the family, illness, pregnancy, or sudden tragic circumstance. In such a situation, Sonic Ridge will obtain, upon approval of the client, a qualified professional replacement to fulfill consultant’s obligations under the contract, at no additional charge to the client.

The Client shall

1. Provide reasonable assistance and cooperation to Sonic Ridge to enable them to complete the Services.

2. Take reasonable steps to secure the safety of Sonic Ridge personnel and property.

3. Provide appropriate working conditions for the Sonic Ridge personnel, including an area 14 feet by 6 feet for the DJ equipment and lighting.

4. Supply power equal to 2 - 20 amp 120 volt 60 hz Electrical Power outlets on separate circuits (Controlled by 3 separate circuit breakers)

5. Supply 1 clean, well-lighted, ventilated, restroom.

6. Provide parking for 2 vehicle(s) for Sonic Ridge for a period of 8 hours, beginning 3 hours before the Performance, at a location within 100 feet to the Venue.

 

Overtime

Additional unplanned and/or un-contracted services (such as, but not limited to, full redo of design, day of event extension of time, services outside of scope of agreement, management of non wedding day activities, etc) are considered overtime and will be billed with prior notification and consent at the rate of $100 per hour.

 

Costs

any purchased items on behalf of client for day of event or prior will be billed directly to client at cost of goods and mileage at $.52 per mile if extensive travel (beyond 20 miles) is required to be acquired.

 

Contracted Vendor and Payments

Any rentals and/or subcontracted vendors contracted on behalf of client will be paid in full to Sonic Ridge directly at requested deadline. Proper notice will be provided per cost.

 

Damage or Loss of Accessories

Client agrees to exercise all due care in caring for, and preserving the property of Sonic Ridge. Clients shall remain responsible for all loss or damage to rentals, up to and including actual replacement value for each missing or damaged item per cost.

 

Payment Schedule and Method

For your convenience, payments can be made online using a valid credit card. Otherwise, payment is to be made by cash or check.

Initial retainer due upon completion of the signed agreement for services. Remaining balance is due as indicated in the schedule below:

Attorney

If legal action is necessary to enforce the terms of this contract the prevailing party shall be entitled to reasonable attorney fees in additional to any other remedies to which that party might be legally entitled.

 

Severability.

If any provision of this contract will be held to be invalid or unenforceable for any reason, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable. If a court finds that any provision of this contract is invalid or unenforceable, but that by limiting such provision it would become valid and enforceable, then such provision will be deemed to be written, construed, and enforced as so limited.

 

Governing Law

This contract shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wisconsin

 

Signatories

This Agreement shall be signed by Client, and Jacob Stewart , Sonic Ridge owner  and effective as of the date first above written.

Appropriate Conduct/ Safe Working Environment: 

The Client(s) expressly agree(s) to take best efforts to provide Sonic Ridge and Sonic Ridge staff or associates with safe and appropriate working conditions. In the event of circumstances deemed by either Sonic Ridge or a bystander to present a threat or implied threat of injury or harm to Sonic Ridge staff or equipment, the [Provider] reserves the right to cancel all services remaining under this Agreement and leave the event. At Sonic Ridge’s discretion, Sonic Ridge may enact a three-strike policy. After the first offense, the Sonic Ridge will make reasonable efforts to notify the Client(s) or a responsible party. If the Client(s) is/are able to respond to the threatening situation in a reasonable amount of time (maximum of 15 minutes), Sonic Ridge shall resume work in accordance with the original terms of this Agreement. If the threatening behavior occurs for a second time, the Client(s) will agree to remove the offending person for the remainder of the event. If the behavior occurs a third time, the Sonic Ridge will immediately leave the event. If the Sonic Ridge leaves the event early due to any offending behavior, the Client(s) expressly agree to relieve and hold Sonic Ridge harmless as a result of incomplete event coverage, or for a lapse in the quality of Sonic Ridge's work, and the Client(s) shall be responsible for payment in full.
